HARD FLOOR CLEANING

Wet Room Showers

Many people love having the independence that a wet room shower can bring them. No more difficulty getting in and out of the bath, or slipping on wet tiled floors. But what about keeping them clean?

Most wet rooms are fitted with safety flooring, which looks fantastic when it is brand new, but it can quickly begin to look dirty if it is not maintained properly.

Typically, cleaners will try to clean safety flooring with a mop and bucket. Mopping does an okay job at removing surface dirt, but over time the small holes in the surface of the flooring can end up building up with ground in dirt and grime. This is much more difficult for a typical cleaner to remove.

Eventually, people are faced with a choice, to live with dirty flooring or having the inconvenience and expense of having the floor replaced prematurely.

But, what if there

was a better way?

Fortunately, there is...

We use a patented system which is the only one of its kind available in the UK. It is the only method of cleaning Altro® Safety Flooring which is specifically approved and recommended by the manufacturer.

We use specialist machinery, that deep cleans safety flooring removing that built up dirt and grime that just won’t come off with ordinary cleaning methods.

There are several types of techniques that we are trained to use, one that uses cleaning solutions and another which uses high pressure steam. Both techniques use machines to scrub and dry your flooring, often leaving it as good as new. In some cases we even use a combination of the two technologies to get the best results.

As a provider of Social Care, I recognise how important it is for people to have access to their wet rooms, often multiple times throughout the day.

This is not a problem for us, we can work around the needs of our customers to make sure you are not inconvenienced by our work.

This may mean that we carry out the cleaning at a particular time of day, or at the weekend, or in several shorter sessions. We are used to finding the right solution for each customer and understand that different customers will have different needs.

We can work with care providers if you have an existing care plan in place, to make sure that the services we offer are likely to meet your needs.
